“The Moonrise Hotel is in an up-and-coming area of St. Louis (the Delmar Loop). It’s a real mix of shops, places to eat, and an eclectic vibe of people. This hotel, however, is above and beyond.
From the moment you walk in, VERY friendly people will greet you and ask if they can do anything. I know, sometimes it can come across as fake, but not here. Over the two days/nights we were there, we talked to a number of the staff and Every Single One of them was pleasant and friendly. That is a rarity these days.
The rooms are fun. The staircase is a hoot. They are animal friendly (water bowls and treat bowls are in the lobby). There is a bar on the roof, complete with a spinning moon. Delightful.
I used the workout room on the 2nd floor. Again, nice enough to get a little exercise in during the stay.
Everywhere you look, something cool or unique will catch your eye. The attention to details right down the the drain in the bathroom sink is wonderful. Am I gushing? Well, it’s all true and if I was going to see another show at The Pageant Theater, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

“We were headed to a show at The Pageant right next door to this hotel. FIRST AND FOREMOST… NATALIE is THE BEST! I travel a LOT and this chic had the most amazing energy, both when speaking to her on the phone and while working WITH her at the front desk.
Ok, onto the rest. Anytime your lobby greets you with a Chihuly chandelier AND the steps are flashing phsycodelic lights?… How can you go wrong?!!!! There are tons of places to eat nearby, as well.“

“It was amazing!! Everyone on the staff was so incredibly friendly and welcoming!! The room was amazing, we got a upgrade when we checked in! It was such an amazing stay, close to a lot of the things we needed to do, like the zoo and the Delmar Hall! Great location!! It was truly an amazing stay!! I’m already planning to come back!!”

“Attended an event on the rooftop and it was an incredible setting. Great views, great decor, just great. The sun was a bit much, but what can you do. The staff was very on top of things and kept the place cleaned up throughout the event. I can’t wait to come back and stay at this venue and attend another event!”
