“Great location and staff” 5 of 5 stars
“The moon theme is throughout the hotel, including a giant moon on the roof. The room was nicely appointed with a settee and a couple of chairs. Very comfortable bed and plenty of pillows. One of those hotels that gives you a robe to wear. The staff really impressed me. They were there to please you and responded to any requests. The 8th floor rooftop terrace was a nice place to unwind with comfortable couches available. They had a very well stocked bar and the drinks did not seem watered down. I would stay there again.”

“This was our second stay at the Moonrise Hotel and, again, it did not disappoint! The staff is friendly – valet, check-in, restaurant staff, etc. – and you really can’t beat the location. I find St. Louis very easy to get around (thanks to Siri) but sometimes when you get in from a big trip, you really don’t want to get back in the car. Delmar Loop is great for walking around to people watch, grab a coffee, lunch, dinner, you name it. And, if you are an avid reader, don’t miss the bookstore! The Moonrise provides roomy and comfortable accommodations and an excellent restaurant downstairs if you don’t feel like going far. Nothing beats the beautiful view from the Rooftop bar & terrace (which was open in the morning for me to enjoy a quiet place to catch up on email). Thumbs up for the Moonrise!”

“Boutique hotel in trendy area” 5 of 5 stars
Comfortable rooms, great atmosphere and amenities, fantastic rooftop bar, welcome cocktails and a short walk to many restaurants, shops, etc. Staff was very friendly. Only thing lacking was a pool during our stay with 95-100° weather.

Unique hotel. Exactly as described on their website. Very comfortable and located in an interesting are of the St. Louis. Located a short walk from the metro which allowed for access to downtown.

“Great retro atmosphere. The rooms were nice. The beds were very comfortable. The room amenities were top notch. Fantastic shower in the room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is a blast. Located in the middle of the Loop, close to The Grove, Forest Park and Central West End. I would highly recommend it.
The only disappointment was on this +95° weekend, a pool would have been lovely. But they handed me a cocktail at check in, so it all evens out.”
