“The Moonrise is exceptional and a one-of-a-kind thanks to the passion and attention of owner Joe Edwards. His fascinating eclectic collection of Space Race art and artifacts is one of the best on public display anywhere in the world. The 3000 pound, 20 foot diameter, solar powered revolving replica of the Moon that rotates over the Roof Garden Lounge is probably his largest lunar artifact – and a dust sized fragment of the Moon may be the tiniest. Both are amazing! It’s open for free public viewing and definitely worth a visit if you’re in St.Louis.”

“This quirky, fun hotel is in a great area with lots of restaurants. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was super clean as was the bathroom. The rooftop bar has a gorgeous view, tons of seating for large and small groups. I will be staying there again.”

“There can be no doubt that the owner of this boutique hotel is fixated on the moon. From photos of astronauts to art work from “Spooning the Moon” and “Trip to the Moon” by Georges Méliès as well as display after display of 60’s era space memorabilia, the decor is overwhelming and fascinating. This theme carries through the sleeping rooms and makes for a memorable stay. The hotel is well-appointed and well-tended. For a very unique experience (but comfortable, nonetheless), give the one-of-a-kind hotel a try.”
