Dog-Friendly Activities in St. Louis

Though the kids may be back to school and the summer appears to be over, we all know there’s endless fun around us in St. Louis for many more months. And that includes fun with the cutest member of your family, too — your pup! Take a look at these great dog-friendly establishments and activities your whole gang will love.

Citygarden

You and your pup will love frolicking through the larger than life sculptures in the heart of downtown St. Louis. Complimentary clean-up bags are provided and dogs must be kept out of the fountains.

Molly’s in Soulard

Enjoy the patio with your furry friend and order one of their many pet-friendly Purina treats: Chewnola or Rollhide treats, Beneful prepared meals or Snackers, or Beggin’ Strips..

Laumeier Sculpture Park

There is so much to explore and wonder at this outdoor sculpture park, you and your pooch will be delighted for hours. If you are looking for a nice walk head over to the Art Hike or Western Woodland trails.

The Boathouse

There’s nothing like paddling with your pet and after you cruise the water you can enjoy a waterfront seat for drinks, food, and of course a beautiful view of the cities prize park.

Three Dog Bakery

Just a walk away from the Moonrise Hotel, this pet-centered boutique offers a DIY dog washing station, all-natural dog treats, and a variety of accouterments for your pampered pooch.

Tower Grove Park’s Food Truck Friday

On the second Friday of every month, Tower Grove Park hosts Food Truck Friday. The evening showcases more than twenty local food trucks, drinks and live music. It is a delicious and fun start to your weekend for the whole family — doggos included!

Museum of the Dog

Marvel at the history of the canine species with your furry friend by your side. The museum offer treats, water and space to romp about so you can have all that you need to keep your dog satisfied and smiling!

Ices Plain and Fancy

There’s nothing plain about the “Sticky Charlie” doggy ice cream made with sweet potato, yogurt, peanut butter and anchovy served at this delightful frozen treat establishment. As a bonus, half of all proceeds go to Stray Rescue of St. Louis. For humans, there are a plethora of flash-churned nitro ice cream flavors to enjoy. If you’re in the mood for a little fun, try one of their boozy ice cream cocktails while you and the pooch lounge on the patio!

Dog Day Fridays at Urban Chestnut

Every other Friday through Sept. 20, join Urban Chestnut Brewing Company for the dog days of summer at the Manchester location! Bring the whole family, including your furrier members, for a relaxing evening with cold UCBC beers, grilled hot dogs and brats, and live music.
