Every Friday night, Chef Liz Schuster creates an incredible dining experience with a theme. This week is no exception. Friday at the Eclipse Restaurant, you can see “Mars Attacks!” and eat the out-of-this-world menu below:
Course 1
“Ack!”
(Kentucky Flamed Beef Tips)
Kentucky bourbon brined and flame broiled beef skewers, pickled maque choux.
Course 2
“Ack-ack!”
(The International Sign of the Doughnut”
Corn meal doughnut filled with chorizo, monterey jack cheese and jalapeno. Topped with queso fresco, pickled onion, cilantro and frijoles negros.
Course 3
“Ack-ack! Ack!”
(We Come in Peace!)
Sassafrass smoked chicken, salsa verde, corn tortilla, red chile sauce and cojita cheese.
Course 4
“Ack-ack! Ack-ack-ack!
(Its Not Unusual…to be a Martian or Tom Jones)
Crispy pork ribs, cider adobo sauce, siracha glazed romanesco and whipped sweet potato with apple-poblano chutney.
Course 5
“Aaaaaack-ack-ack-ack! Aaaaaaaack-ack-ack-ack. Ack!”
(Slim Whitman Killed the Martians)
Pecan and buttermilk biscuit pudding, candied lemon, and Southern Comfort cream.
