Spring has sprung in St. Louis, although you wouldn’t have known it from the temperatures in March! Hopefully, snow showers will bring May flowers this year, but even though the weather was frightful, the reviews our guests left us were so delightful. It puts a spring in our step to hear from guests that loved our boutique hotel rooms, unique event spaces, and the fact that we’re the most pet-friendly hotel in St. Louis. “Amazing stay at the Moonrise hotel!!” 5 of 5 stars
“I stayed here for 1 night , The Moonrise is a great boutique hotel located in a cool neighborhood which has lots of restaurants, bars, entertainment and stores. the lobby is so cool with light-up stairs , the check-in was smooth and the front desk staff (Jasmine) was very friendly. the room was great and large, the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was upscale and the shower was very nice,
The hotel have rooftop bar and its a great place to be after 5:00 PM with great music and lots of people. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel!!!!!!”

“The hotel is in a great location close to interesting shops and restaurants. I felt safe, staff was helpful and friendly. Check out the rooftop bar. Fantastic! The workout room is open 24 hours which was great.”

“Lovely, kitschy, fun hotel” 5 of 5 stars
“My boyfriend and I spend just one night at the Moonrise when we visited St. Louis to see a show at Delmar Hall. We were greeted with a cocktail. I knew right away it was my kind of place because of the dog-guest greeting bowls with treats for Fido. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. The hotel was space-themed with the owner’s toy and memorabilia collection on display. The roof-top bar had planets and stars hanging from the ceiling. The hotel restaurant was a little pricey, but breakfast was delicious.
Hotel was a three minute walk from the Delmar and was surrounded by great restaurants. Free self-parking in the back was a downtown bonus.”

“Everything here is wonderful. The valets are helpful. The front desk staff is friendly and well dressed. Our room is incredible the view on Delmar boulevard from our room is great.. the rooftop bar is amazing great atmosphere. The people behind the bar are friendly even the patrons were nice and outgoing. Having a drink on the rooftop terrace is a must. Or at least go out there and look. My wife and I will be coming back again.”

“I couldn’t be happier with our stay at the Moonrise Hotel. It’s in a really cool area, great for walking around. The customer service is phenomenal, especially if you bring a dog, and the room was perfect. The rooftop bar really puts it over the top.”

“My husband and I just spent the night there for the first time, and we had such a fantastic experience, such a fun and unique atmosphere but still very classy! They were all very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the drinks at the roof top bar were delicious and strong! And an added bonus, when we checked in, we found out that we were given the room with the only massage chair in the whole hotel! We will definitely be back!!!”

“We stayed at the Moonrise primarily because we drove down to STL for a concert at the Pageant. Loved the option for valet parking in a secure lot, the proximity to lots of great restaurants and shops, and for a smaller hotel, lots of options for drinks and dining at the hotel. The staff is very friendly as well. If you are in town for a concert, you can’t beat the fact that you literally have to walk 200 feet to the Pageant. Will definitely stay here again!”

“Moonrise is an excellent choice if you are in town to see a show at one of the venues on the Loop. Great location, modern décor, friendly staff, nice restaurant & bar. Also within walking distance of many restaurants and unique shops. My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times and always enjoyed the experience. It does seem to be more of an “adult” hotel, though my sons (age 12 & 10) enjoyed it when we brought them for our last trip despite the lack of a swimming pool.”

“Loved everything about my experience. The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming, my room was larger than expected, and the Aveda amenities are a huge plus. This hotel has so much character — the moon theme is done in just the right dose — cute and fun, without being campy or ridiculous. Make sure you go to the rooftop bar and get a cocktail from Jack if he’s working. I wanted to stay longer. Right next to the Pageant, a great venue for music.”

“We had booked this Hotel because of its location to the event we were going to. It is in “The Loop” area of St. Louis. This is a hot spot for national and international acts of various sorts. The hotel is right next to 2 of the venues. The Hotel is a very nice conceptual themed hotel. Don’t know how they could have designed it any nicer. From the beautiful interior, to shadow boxes, to lovely old fashioned moon pictures. This area is quite a treasure. Google it. Or better yet, come here. You won’t be sorry. And you can thank a man named Joe. I have, and will. Thanks Joe!”
