“Awesome hotel with great vibe and eclectic decor. Very clean and spacious. From bell hop to front desk registration everyone was warm and welcoming. We had drinks on the rooftop bar, strolled the sidewalks readibg about the Lunar system. Loved it. Stayed 3 nights. Parked in the back lot without incident. Easily navigated to and from the concert venue to see Lady Gaga. All in all a great mini break and celebration of my husbands birthday.”

“Every single person who worked there was so kind and interested in our satisfaction. The decor is so unique and cool. The location is great! We walk to bowl and then to dinner. Both bars in the hotel are great too. Will even made sure we had treats to take home for our fur baby. We will return!”

“Beautiful boutique hotel in a perfect location! Within walking distance of so many shops and eateries. Front desk staff and valets were over the top helpful. “This hotel was perfect for a night away with my husband. We live in the greater St, Louis area, and wanted night out by ourselves. The Moonrise was absolutely perfect. The front desk staff was friendly, and even offered complimentary beverages on check in. Our room was clean, and modern. We loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants on Delmar. Highly recommend the Pinup Bowl next door. We had a great time, and will definitely book here again.”

“If you’re in town to attend a show at the Pageant, this is an ideal location. This hotel checks all the boxes you want – clean, comfortable, friendly staff, aesthetically pleasing (love the theme), rooftop bar, lots of eateries in walking distance, etc. A couple less obvious notes – the water pressure in the shower was great, something I always wonder about before booking a hotel. Also the TV was a little old, but the audio video connections for the TV allowing us to hookup a laptop or other output device to the TV made up for it – a nice little extra that most hotels don’t offer.”

“It has been a long time since I was so pleasantly surprised by a hotel. The kitsch 1960s moon theme was everywhere – right down to the stopper in bathroom sink. Everything was clean and updated, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The location also was perfect. The Delmar “Loop” probably had a dozen bars and restaurants that I wanted to try, but I only had two days, so I could only hit a few. Even in miserable freezing rain, it was an easy walk from the hotel to the bars and restaurants, which started less than a block away.

“Excellent experience from the moment we walked in. Quick check-in (paid in advance), staff offered cocktails at the desk. Loved the decor and vibe of the place, room was great. Staff was excellent at the desk every day, as well as in restaurant and particularly the rooftop bar. Couldn’t have been happier with our two-night stay here.”
