The St. Louis LGBTQ+ community is strong and welcoming, a fact that’s especially true during Pride Month. The city has even been named one of Advocate magazine’s top LGBT-friendly cities.

St. Louis Gay Pride has been celebrated since 1980, and each year it keeps getting bigger. This year’s Pride celebration, PrideFest 2019 , is set for June 29 and June 30 at Soldiers’ Memorial Park. Last year, roughly 300,000 people attended the event. This year’s festival theme is “Millions of Moments” and it’s set to be another fantastic success and celebration of the LGBTQ+ community!

Join the Parade
The Grand Parade takes place on Sunday, June 30 at 12 p.m. The grand marshals this year are the Metro Trans Umbrella Group (MTUG) and the St. Louis Metro Transgender community. This parade has served as a way for legislators and candidates to show their support of our LGBTQ community as well as a chance to display local creative talents.

If you feel motivated to make a difference during Pride month, you can consider making a donation to PrideCenter of St. Louis. As the only LGBTQ+ center in the region, the PrideCenter works to provide much needed services to the LGBTQ+ community in our area.
Catch Our Annual Queens in Space Event
Kick off National Pride Month with this annual celebration of the LGBTQIA+ Community at the Moonrise rooftop terrace bar on June 2o! Hosted by Vital Voice and Pearl Vodka, this is a full concert-style drag show experience. Tickets are just $15 and include a Pearl Vodka cocktail and pre-show music by DJ Jill Ferns.
