November was out of this world at the Moonrise! From our incredible Thanksgiving dinner to all of the fun holiday activities on the Loop starting, it was a busy and wonderful month. No matter the time of year, it’s never a dull moment at our one of a kind boutique hotel.
One of our favorite things to do is take a look back at what our guests had to say the previous month. “What an awesome spot! Beautifully designed, pet-friendly hotel (Cats and Dogs – got treats, beds and bowls for the room for free). The rooftop bar is beautiful and the lobby bar is tasteful and the bartender Will was the man and mixes up a mean cocktail. And that bacon mac and cheese was nuts.. Thank you!”

“My Moonrise hotel stay far exceeded my expectations in level of service and comfort in room. I had a fabulous experience largely due to the excellent customer service experience Natalie created for me. I arrived late for a dinner event and was not sure I had time to check-in nor bring my bags to the room. Natalie gracefully provided expedited service to accommodate my check-in and sent my bags to the room with the bell hop service. The rooms are very nice and well maintained with daily cleaning, refreshed towels and toiletries in the bathroom.
A nice touch in the lobby in the evenings is there punch served in the lobby, each night of my stay Natalie and team greeted me and other guests with their complimentary punch. I enjoyed drinks at the restaurant bar downstairs. The staff members all the way around were genuinely positive, warm and of service. Deserving 5-stars.
An added bonus is their location to the MetroLink which I used for roundtrip airport travel and restaurant and bars.
I do not normally write reviews, but this experience deserves 5-stars. Needless to say, I would stay here again.”

“The Delmar loop is a fun, hip little area and this hotel is the perfect central place to stay. And bonus: it was right next door to our concert at The Pageant! Walking distance to art shops and fun fusion restaurants.”

“Super hotel that is top notch from check in to check out. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a pleasant bar for cocktails/appetizers. Located near the Pageant and Delmar Hall for music lovers attending concerts and nearby restaurants. Didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant, but expect it is as good as everything else here. Highly recommended.”

“Didn’t really know what to expect as I’ve never heard of this hotel. I am now sorry that I was only able to stay one night!!!! I will return with my hubby and spend a long weekend in St. Louis and will stay nowhere else. The staff was awesomely accommodating! The food was great at the Eclipse (breakfast). Bar areas were fun and staff everywhere knew what they were doing and seemingly enjoyed doing it! Having never spent time in St. Louis, the front desk staff gave me some great guidance. Loved my room and found it to be immaculate (pet-friendly hotel room!). Way to go guys! See ya soon! (Oh and I picked “mid range” for price but it’s actually budget friendly since it’s a great value for the price!)”

“Great place for you and your pet!” – 10 out of 10 stars
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the pet friendly policies and service were second to none (free treats and bandana, waste bags and on-the-go water bowl/bottle, and they provided water and food bowls for use, all for a one-time pet fee). Unique hotel in a great location. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
