Does your pet love to strut their stuff? If so, get excited for the 2nd Annual Delmar Howl-O-Ween Pet Parade! Last year’s event was paws-itively amazing, with over 200 pet lovers and their furry friends joining in on the fun. Plans are underway for this year’s parade, which is sure to be a blast for all ages and species! The parade will be held on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 1 – 3 p.m. and will benefit Gateway Pet Guardians.
All Fur a Good Cause
At Moonrise, we love all animals, so we especially love any event that benefits their well-being. Gateway Pet Guardians is a non-profit animal shelter in St. Louis that works to educate the community and eliminate homelessness for stray dogs and cats. Parade participants are encouraged to make a donation of $5 to Gateway Pet Guardians when they register for the event. What could be better than the chance to have fun with your pet while also doing a good deed for the less fortunate animals in our community? Get your tickets ahead of time here.
Prizes, Treats, and Pets Galore!
Like last year, the parade will include trick-or-treating along The Loop and prizes for the best-dressed pets and their owners. Participating local businesses on the route will be passing out treats for kids as well as delicious doggie treats made by Three Dogs Bakery.

The Moonrise will be hosting a post-parade award ceremony and “Yappy Hour” on the rooftop from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Pets and people of all ages are welcome to attend!
