Join the Moonrise Hotel next month as we throw an amazing birthday party for St. Louis’ big 250th!
The festivities will take place from 6 p.m. to midnight on Sunday, May 25. Spanning six rooms at the Moonrise, the celebration will feature some of our city’s most famous and experienced mixologists!
Travel through time in each room as we celebrate different periods of St. Louis’ past — and future! Enjoy great classic cocktails in the Prohibition Room with The Good Pie’s Jeff Moll, or check out the Pre-Prohibition Bar feature the very prolific Ted and Jaime Kilgore of Planter’s House. Experience the latest in molecular mixology with BC’s Kitchen’s Justin Cardwell and another awesome experiment in beers from 4 Hands Brewery in our Future Room.
Arrive early and listen to the mastered blues and jazz performances of local pianist Curt Landes in our Gaslight Square Room. Matthew Obermark of the United States Bartenders’ Guild and Kyle Mathis of Taste will pay homage to St. Louis’ first cocktail party. Serendipity will satisfy your sweet tooth with waffle cones to commemorate the 1904 World’s Fair.
From Budweiser’s majestic Clydesdales and period costumes to painters and liquor ambassadors, this will be an STL250 event not to miss!
