Great in every way
“This is the hotel to stay at in St. Louis! About 20 minutes from downtown, but a few minutes walk from the lively Delmar Loop, which is full of great restaurants, shops and activities that will transport you back in time. Also, they love pets! They even wrote our cats names on a welcome board when we walked in. They delivered toys, a litter pan, treats and a collar tag to our room. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. They offer valet parking but can also park yourself in the back of the hotel. Great rooftop bar as well and nice fitness room (they even leave fruit). Worth every penny!”

Funky, fun and convenient – a great alternative to traditional, boring hotels
“We were attracted to the Moonrise Hotel by its unique branding (moon-related decor, memorabilia and theme) as well as its comfy rooms, amenities and great location on the Delmar Loop. We were not disappointed. We had previously had many satisfactory but unmemorable stays in some of the more traditional hotels in the St. Louis / University City / Clayton area while visiting our daughter at college. This was our first time at the Moonrise and we would return without hesitation. It is a unique and friendly place with real style and substance. The room was lovely, customer services was exceptional, the food in the restaurant was excellent and the location can’t be beat. Small touches like a white noise machine and rain forest showerhead make it special but it is already a good value and a fun experience. You can pay less but you’ll get what you pay for – we really enjoyed our visit. The rooftop bar is also a great amenity. Highly recommended.”

Charming, modern, chic – and friendly!
“To be honest I did not know what to expect – I knew I had 3 nights scheduled here for a business trip, so I checked out the reviews. They are all pretty prove, but with the moon theme, thought it might be a bit cheesy. The place is awesome. Really nice room – modern bathroom, mini bar, club chair and a settee to relax – pretty spacious. Front desk was very friendly and accommodated an early checkin (noon!). I am looking forward to the view from the top floor bar later on! I would definitely return and bring my wife!

Quiet hotel away from the city
“We happened upon this place after searching on TripAdvisor. The reviews were great so we thought we’d give it a try. It reminded us of citizen M in London, which we loved – funky, modern and lots of fun. And I have to say, it definitely lived up to its reputation! It was quiet and clean. The rooftop bar was lovely and provided a great view of St Louis. The bed is very comfortable and the curtains do a good job of blocking light. We didn’t hear much commotion in the hallway, either. We ordered room service and the food was great. We usually use Hotwire when we’re breezing through a town but next time we’re in St Louis we will definitely stay here again!

Special hotel in St. Louis
“Nice hotel, where they care to offer a good experience. Most likely better than big names chains around. Original design, pleasant personnel, very comfortable large rooms. Breakfast is real good. Outside terrace at the top when weather allows is quite nice.”
