September was such a blast at the Moonrise! From guests on weekend getaways to those just passing through town, we had tons of happy visitors. The rooftop bar, unique decor, fabulous food and drinks – they loved it all! There’s nothing we enjoy more than seeing how much our guests enjoyed their time with us, so of course we wanted to share some of our favorite guest reviews from September:

“Love this place” 5 of 5 stars
Let me start by saying all of the people that work here were super friendly and helpful. This hotel is really cool with lots of space memorabilia. Neat retro furniture, our room was clean, comfy beds and I’ll be coming back. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and bars and right next door to the Pageant if you’re seeing a concert

“Modern, but different!” 5 of 5 stars
we stayed here on our way through route 66. We loved this hotel! the lady at the front desk was really friendly and helpful on arrival.
the rooms are big and clean, and have funky decor in them as does the entire hotel.
We went to the roof top bar in the evening which was lovely, very comfortable and a great way to see the skyline.
We ordered breakfast to the room in the morning, and it was very prompt and delicious!

“Nice getaway” 5 of 5 stars
Staff was helpful and on top of things. They wanted to make our stay special. I booked online so they contacted us to find out specifics of our package that we wanted. Atmosphere was great. We don’t have anything bad to say about this hotel. I was very surprised that with the Rooftop bar and being so close to everything, that we didn’t hear any noise. Our experience there was just perfect.

I love the Moonrise Hotel, we’re always there for functions, events and mixers and this hotel is dynamite. Centrally located, great atmosphere …a smaller Hotel that packs a BIG Punch!!!

Fun place to stay. Room was quiet, nicely appointed and roomy. I enjoyed the rain fall shower head and pillow top mattress. The rooftop bar isn’t a joke, they make very good craft cocktails, have lots of seating and a really nice view. Will stay here again.

Superior experience . Everyone from the Valet to the front desk were over the top nice and helpful. Don’t usually see 24 hour room service and a full service gym with iced towels along with a roof top club open till 2am even on week nights .My new place to stay in St Louis!

We had a wonderful weekend in Saint Louis visiting relatives! We arrived very late and were so pleased the restaurant in the hotel was open late and had a great meal. The rooftop bar was an added bonus with a beautiful view of the skyline. Our room was clean and had everything you could want, i.e. safe, refrigerator, and lighted makeup mirror. We felt very safe and attended to during the drama on the streets. We will definitely stay here again!!

I stopped in St Louis just because it was midway between two stops on my trip. After finding The Moonrise hotel, I’ll make a point of always making St Louis a stop. And the neighborhood was perfect for me. Great room, great staff, rooftop bar is amazing.
